The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential in supporting the financial operations of our organization and requires a strong understanding of various accounting principles. Job description
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Reconcile credit cards and post payments
- Prepare reports as instructed and needed
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting
- Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- One to two years experience with a variety of A/P duties General experience in an A/P department.
- Knowledge of payroll management processes
- Proficiency in using Excel and QuickBooks
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including reconciliations of accounts. Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy in payroll records. Conduct account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data.
