Bookkeeper Position Available In Broward, Florida

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the healthcare and social assistance sector, located in Davie, Florida. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and resolving discrepancies within our team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record transactions in a timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date ledgers for all companies
• Conduct daily and monthly bank account reconciliations
• Manage and reconcile credit card accounts as necessary
• Execute payment processing and billing for clients
• Handle communications with vendors via phone and email
• Oversee expense reports and reimbursements, and reconcile invoices
• Enter key data of financial transactions in QuickBooks
• Assist with due to and due from journal entries as assigned
• Maintain QuickBooks database to ensure complete and current records
• Prepare and process monthly intercompany journal entries assigned by the Financial Manager
• Assist in monthly and annual closings
• Support payroll processing as necessary
• Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Must be skilled in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations is expected
• Comprehensive knowledge in Bookkeeping is mandatory
• Should be adept in Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is required
• Should be able to handle Month End Close activities
• Experience in managing Payroll is necessary
