Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting key financial processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and complete.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely submission of payments.
- Manage month-end close procedures, including preparing financial reports and reconciling accounts.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.
- Input and verify data to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to support financial planning and reporting initiatives. Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience with payroll processing and month-end close procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
