The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. Responsibilities Process and review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Maintain the general ledger accounting by ensuring all transactions are recorded properly. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Paychex, or Ceridian to manage financial transactions efficiently. Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments. Assist in benefits administration by managing related invoices and payments. Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities for management review. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information regarding accounts payable transactions. Stay updated on governmental accounting regulations to ensure compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in financial software and general ledger accounting. Familiarity with Paychex, Ceridian, QuickBooks, or similar accounting platforms is preferred. Knowledge of benefits administration processes is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
