Accounts Receivable Lead 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Immokalee, FL 34142 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee daily AR operations in a fast-paced retail environment . This hands-on role involves managing high-volume B2B collections , ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and billing , and overseeing the application of customer payments . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, and has a strong command of AR best practices in a commercial setting. Responsibilities Oversee and conduct day-to-day AR functions including billing, collections, and cash application Manage high-volume invoicing cycles and ensure accurate billing to retail and B2B clients Perform proactive B2B collections via phone and email, maintaining strong customer relationships Lead and support a small AR team (if applicable), setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts to minimize DSO Apply payments to customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency (ACH, checks, wires, etc.) Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to resolve billing issues Assist with monthly close and AR reconciliations Recommend process improvements to streamline AR functions and reporting Requirements 3-5+ years of accounts receivable experience, with a focus on B2B collections and billing and cash application Prior experience in retail or high-volume transactional environments strongly preferred Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) Excellent communication and follow-up skills Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure Leadership experience or prior supervisory exposure a plus If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career in finance while contributing to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for the Accounts Receivable Lead position today!
