Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the company’s receivable processes. This role will focus on ensuring timely collections, accurate billing, and maintaining customer relationships while supporting the finance team with reporting and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy in billing details and adherence to payment terms. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, follow up on overdue payments, and work with customers to resolve payment disputes. Reconcile customer accounts, post payments, and ensure accurate application of cash receipts in the accounting system. Assist in month-end close by preparing AR reports, reconciling accounts receivable ledgers, and providing documentation for audits.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years of accounts receivable experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
