Role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations, particularly in invoicing, account reconciliation, and collections. This role requires strong communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to multi-task and work effectively with both internal departments and external customers. This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send invoices accurately and in a timely manner Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections Answer incoming calls and assist customers with billing inquiries Work with various accounting and business software systems Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software Customer service-oriented with a pleasant and professional demeanor Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Able to work independently and as part of a team Honest, ethical and ability to handle monetary matters in a confidential manner.
