No travel or language fluency required. Report to management on asset utilization, audit results, and financial status, providing insights for operational improvements. Review accounts for discrepancies, reconcile differences, and establish tables of accounts, ensuring proper assignment of entries. Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to accepted accounting procedures for recording transactions. Collect and analyze data to detect deficiencies in accounting records. Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to procedural and reporting standards. Examine inventory to verify journal and ledger entries are correct. Confer with management about financial/accounting matters, ensuring that proper protocols are followed. Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss accounts and balance sheets, and supervise sales reconciliation from e-commerce platforms with cost calculations and petty cash activities. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses. Prepare adjusting journal entries and update accounting records, posting necessary adjustments as directed by CPA for tax return preparation. Analyze budgets and other financial reports, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs to assess variances. Process invoices for payment, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately. Prepare, analyze, or verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to assess financial condition and aid in financial planning. Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, or expenditures to provide insights to management on financial performance. Use e-commerce software such as Skubana, Sellercloud, and Trello to support e-commerce data capturing. Manage QuickBooks online for the financial transactions recording and reporting and use other integrated platforms, such as Payoneer, Paypal, and Wise. Use Payroll software Gusto for the employees payroll processing and integrate it with financial records. Calculate Paid Time Off (PTO) and remaining balance of paid leaves accruals for the year. Manage the record of employees reimbursements. Oversee daily accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and monitoring bank and credit card balances to ensure timely vendor payments. Extract reports from all marketplaces such as Amazon, Ebay, and Walmart and use the reports to record the sales and expenses of the corresponding companies.
