Job Description
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Jacksonville, Florida, 32207, United States.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.
- Maintain and update customer credit records.
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
- Manage account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of data.
- Conduct check runs and manage invoice coding.
- Handle the processing of packing slips and invoices.
- Implement unused features in Accounts Payable (AP).
- Work with a third party to manage their invoicing process.
- Manage inconsistencies in the database. Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.
- Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with proven ability to handle discrepancies and irregularities.
- Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices.
- Excellent Data Entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experienced in Invoice Processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, pivot tables, and charts.
- Experience with QuickBooks software for accounting tasks.
- Knowledge of Monthly Sales Tax calculations and submissions.
- Understanding of Sales Tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and reporting.
- Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process in the procurement and payment cycle.
- Ability to manage Purchase Orders, including creation, tracking, and reconciliation.
