Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Duval, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will manage key aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions. Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and timely approvals.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage weekly accounts payable tasks, including check runs and credit card approvals.
• Handle data entry tasks to ensure records are up-to-date and organized.
• Monitor and address sales and use tax compliance requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Oracle to manage and analyze financial data.
• Support the team in resolving discrepancies or payment issues.
• Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities. Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in key accounts payable functions, such as coding invoices and managing reconciliations.
• Familiarity with sales and use tax processes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
