Accounts receivable duties includeensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing andmonitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying andposting receipts.

Accounts Receivable Clerk JobDescription/Summary:

Process accounts and incoming payments incompliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day today financial transactions, including verifying, classifying,computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data Preparebills, invoices and bank deposits Reconcile the accounts receivableledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properlyposted. Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issuesFacilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders andcontacting clients Generate financial statements and reportsdetailing accounts receivable status

Qualifications:

High schooldiploma or GED required; Associates Degree in related fieldpreferred 2 years of experience as an AR Clerk Strong data entryskills Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accountingfigures and financial records Solid understanding of basicaccounting principles High degree of accuracy and attention todetail Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clientsand other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner atall times Must be able to pass background check and drug test
