Medical Billing Authorization/AR Billing Specialist Hiring-Cardiology Office Jacksonville, FL 32216
Responsibilities:
- Requesting authorizations for specific CPT codes / medical procedures
- Able to navigate through various websites
- Understand the requirements for authorizations / referrals

Insurance Verification Skills:
- MUST have experience in AR collections
- Experience in insurance AR collections
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
- Knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding
- Familiarity with medical office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
