A successful candidate will have experience with basic bookkeeping, financial analysis and an understanding of governmental and organizational policies. The right individual will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry. Implement software systems. Manage expenses. Organize financial information. Correspond with clients. Maintain financial records. Qualifications Proficient in accounting principles and GAAP standards Strong skills in double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Ability to perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes Familiarity with financial report writing and payroll management Experience in financial analysis and journal entries
