Accounting/Purchasing Clerk Temporary Summit Safety Brooksville, FL 34604 • Hybrid work Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with company policies and financial regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles to support our financial operations effectively.
Duties Accounts Payable:
Invoice entry, reviewing vendor statements
Sales Tax:
Reviewing exemption certificates, applying tax status to orders, pulling reports
Accounts Receivable:
sending customer invoices, sending credit references Other Accounting functions as required Purchasing – assist with clerical functions as required
Experience and Skills :
Communication and People skills: Effective communications skills to interact with customers, vendors, and team members
Basic Accounting and ERP Software Knowledge:
Ability to understand basic accounting principles and practices
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office, and Afobe Attention to Detail? Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Strong organization skills Effective management of time and files ensuring audit and compliance verification Typing skills 1-2 years in an accounting environment Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship will not be provided) Ability to commit to full-time schedule during the temporary period Hybrid-Remote and On-Site.
