• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
• Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices.
• Reconciling process work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance.
• Maintain historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, checks.
• Ensuring outstanding balances are updated with credit memos that are due.
• Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
• Assisting other departments with equipment or product purchases.
• Establish & maintain close working relationships with our vendors and our warehouse receiving team.
• Follow up to ensure that supplier issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
• Soft collections of outstanding accounts receivable.
• Process credit card payments.
• Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications
• 3 years or more Accounts Payables in an office environment.
• Outstanding phone and written communications skills.
• Ability to identify needs and offer solutions.
• Ability to use financial record-keeping software systems, spreadsheets and emails applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of basic accounting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to occasionally work overtime.
• Bi-lingual Spanish / English is a plus.
