We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with some property management/real estate experience to support our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in basic accounting and experience in property management. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential for success in this role. The Opportunity CareFirst is currently looking for out-going, motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team atmosphere to join our Tampa office team. Candidates should have the ability to multitask and critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day property management tasks (Vendor/ maintenance coordination)
- Perform basic accounting duties including invoice processing, sales tax reporting, and financial recordkeeping
- Maintain organized documentation for properties
- Support the preparation of financial reports
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Provide administrative support The ideal candidate must also have a positive attitude, willingness to accept change, openness to feedback, and be team minded.
Salary to commensurate with experience. Minimum Qualification Requirements Basic accounting knowledge (A/P, A/R, reconciliations) Experience in property management or a strong willingness to learn Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Quickbooks is a plus High School Diploma or equivalent
