Job Description
Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity offering a dynamic work environment in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, and supporting various administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately code incoming invoices and secure necessary approvals for processing.
- Batch and forward invoices to corporate for vendor payments.
- Apply payments to customer accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Generate client invoices for both new and recurring services.
- Develop detailed financial reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
- Oversee contracts related to projects and services offered to clients.
- Process change orders efficiently and ensure documentation is complete.
- Gather information required for lien releases and ensure compliance.
- Issue notices to owners as part of administrative responsibilities. Requirements
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Experience with billing and invoice processing.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a construction or related industry is a plus.
