Position Overview:

As an Accounting Clerk , you will provide essential support to the Accounting department by handling accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. What You’ll Do:

Accounts Receivable Management:

Verify and maintain reports for monthly sales, open invoices, and aging reports.

Deposits and Payments:

Prepare deposit slips, verify remittances against business accounts, and deposit checks daily.

Vendor and Account Resolution:

Communicate with vendors and department managers to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

Accounts Payable Processing:

Process accounts payable invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely, accurate payments.

Expense Reimbursement:

Review, audit, and process employee expense reimbursements for accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Month-End Close Support:

Assist with the month-end close process and generate required monthly reports.

Data Entry & Record Maintenance:

Enter information into the accounting data system and maintain organized accounting department files.

Special Projects:

Assist with special accounting projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred). At least 2 years of accounting experience. Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
