Job Description:

Accounts Payable/Cash Associate

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Accounts Payable/Cash Associate at Today’s Dental Network reports directly to the AP & Cash Manager. This position plays a key role in monthly financial reporting and maintaining favorable vendor relationships by ensuring timely and accurate accounts payable and cash processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily processing of vendor bills – monitor vendor portals and AP mailbox for invoices and enter into Bill.com. Review vendor statements for accuracy and reconcile invoices to statements monthly. Maintain vendor list for statement review to ensure all invoices are entered timely for month end processing. Code and enter credit card transactions. Deposit checks received at the corporate office. Collect mail and scan/distribute as necessary. Download and save monthly bank, credit card, and patient financing statements. Provide AP/banking/cash support for our dental offices as needed. Assist the AP & Cash Manager with daily reports, positive pay, entering and posting ACH & wire payments, monitoring chargebacks & credits, addressing AP and vendor issues, and other duties as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Three years of experience in a multi-office accounts payable environment. Demonstrated ability to grasp job requirements quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members in multiple offices as well as external vendors. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in corporate office three days per week.

NICE TO HAVES

Experience in a healthcare or multi-location service organization. Experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com.
