We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in Tampa, FL. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth and stability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Pay Details:
