Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position is 100% onsite and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing high-volume accounts payable processes and possess strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness. Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts. Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files. Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities.
Pay Details:
