Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (English/Spanish) Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents (3-way match) Ensure proper approvals are obtained before processing payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies Maintain up-to-date and organized AP records and files Assist with month-end closing processes Support internal teams with AP-related questions and reports Translate documents and facilitate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking stakeholders as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred) 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related role Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
