Job Description
Our client, an established Commercial Property Management company located in Tampa, (33609), is seeking an AR Associate. Pay is $23 an hour and onsite for the first 6 months at which time, a hybrid schedule is an option. The schedule is 8am-5pm with an hour lunch. Some additional details of the role include:
- This role will may interact with about 70-80 tenants either via email or phone each month regarding outstanding balances.
- They will initially use MRI Software and will be trained on Yardi Voyager, as we are converting our system to that platform
- Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner, to interact/communicate with other employees, owners, tenants, vendors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Post all cash receipts received from owners/tenants and monthly recurring charges to owners/tenants.
- Prepare owner/client invoices and tenant charge-backs for processing.
- Assist Controller with owner/tenant questions and concerns, as they relate to accounts receivable.
- Monitor the aged delinquencies for each property, issue appropriate delinquency notices (tenant default, 3-day notices) upon review by Property Management. Correspond with attorneys regarding tenant defaults at the direction of Property Management.
- Assist Controller with preparing and billing the annual operating expense reconciliations.
- Assist the Controller with account reconciliation and compilation of monthly financial information as directed.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of the monthly operating reports.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of annual property budgets.
- Review and act as back up to entering new leases/renewals into the Accounting System as directed by the Controller.
- Assist with depositing checks via remote deposit scanner and or physically at a bank as directed by the Controller.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller. Supervisor Responsibilities
