Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Associate assists and support the Controller in all phases of accounts receivable activity. What You’ll do: Work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain professional communication with employees, owners, tenants, vendors, and the public. Post cash receipts and recurring charges for owners and tenants. Prepare invoices and tenant chargebacks. Assist with owner/tenant’s questions related to accounts receivable. Monitor delinquencies, issue notices, and correspond with attorney as needed. Help prepare and bill annual operating expense reconciliations. Support preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports. Enter new leases and renewals into the accounting system as needed. Deposit checks using a remote scanner or at the bank. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Controller.
What You’ll Need:
Knowledge of property management, real estate, or a related field. Must be able to work with figures and understand basic financial concepts. Communicates professionally while understanding and addressing customer inquiries and team needs. Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure, and meet deadlines promptly. Excellent organizational skills, bookkeeping, detail-oriented, concern for accuracy and efficiency. Associate Degree or related work experience. Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Also, Adobe Acrobat.
