The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing basic financial reports. We are looking for a bookkeeper who knows how to use QuickBooks Online and Excel. Our bookkeeper will mostly work with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and purchasing of office supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions using QuickBooks online. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Coordinate company purchases, including materials and office supplies. Book hotels and accommodations for staff travel, ensuring cost-efficiency and proper documentation. Maintain vendor and contractor records. Track and report company expenses, including travel and lodging. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Other items as need it.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to multitask and manage financial and administrative responsibilities. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Experience in travel coordination or purchasing is a plus Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
