Full-Charge Bookkeeper 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL Ledgent Accounting & Finance is hiring an experienced, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the full cycle of accounting duties for our client. Key Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and payroll. Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax forms and reports (sales tax, 1099s, etc.). Work directly with the CPA for tax filings and year-end audits. Monitor cash flow and provide financial reports and insights to management. Assist in budgeting and forecasting as needed. Ensure compliance with all internal and external accounting policies and regulations. Maintain organized records and support document management.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar role. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop). Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting. Experience with payroll processing and reporting. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office applications. Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
