Consultant Advisor, ERP Michael Cooper is recruiting this position. Our East Coast healthcare client is looking for a skilled Workday Accounts Payable Consultant to join their team in implementing and managing AP solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday Financial Management, specifically in Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, payment workflows, and integration with third-party systems. This role requires deep understanding of accounting principles and best practices in AP operations, along with the ability to configure and optimize Workday AP functionality to meet business requirements. The engagement is a contract role requiring onsite availability for key dates.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience implementing and configuring Workday Financial Management
Strong expertise in Workday Accounts Payable module configuration and operations
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
Experience with various invoice processing methods including manual entry and OCR
Familiarity with healthcare industry AP processes and systems (e.g., GHX)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Workday Financial Management certification preferred
