Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Available In Indian River, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Vero Beach, Florida. This position is offering the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role involves managing key aspects of accounts receivable while also cross-training in other accounting functions to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Cross-train in additional accounting roles to provide support across the department.
• Generate and maintain accurate financial reports to assist in decision-making.
• Review and analyze financial entries, creating journal entries as required.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller to complete special accounting projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Modify and maintain financial records using established systems.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement within the accounting team. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role, with a minimum of two years preferred.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining organizational standards.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
