Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our team in Leesburg, Florida. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial operations and office management, particularly in manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will oversee key processes such as accounts payable and receivable, inventory management, and administrative tasks to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of daily operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Conduct routine audits of financial records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Post cash receipts and reconcile deposits with accounting records to ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare daily financial transmittals and reports to support accurate recordkeeping.
  • Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and assisting with renewals.
  • Track inventory levels, coordinate replenishment efforts, and liaise with suppliers to maintain stock.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining organized records.
  • Support team members with ad hoc tasks and operational needs to maintain smooth office functionality. Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of financial auditing and billing processes.
  • Familiarity with cash deposit reconciliation and collections.
  • Ability to manage contracts and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Experience in inventory tracking and vendor coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools commonly used in accounting.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members.
