Role:

As the primary Bookkeeper for a small but busy roofing company, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end accounting, including data entry, job costing, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, banking, and payroll. This is not just a data entry role — it’s a crucial position that supports the daily financial operations of the business.

What We’re Looking For:

QuickBooks Online experience is a must (No QuickBooks Desktop users, please) 4+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or job costing roles Strong understanding of job costing in a project-based environment Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced office Comfortable being a hands-on contributor in a small team setting

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records across all accounting areas Manage payroll processing, banking, and reconciliations Oversee A/P and A/R with job-specific allocations Produce and track invoices and payments Generate job costing reports and assist with budgeting Support the owner with day-to-day financial questions and decisions
