We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and keep our financial operations running smoothly. Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support the broader financial needs of our fast-growing HVAC service business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, values accuracy, and is comfortable handling a variety of accounting tasks in a small business environment. Key Responsibilities Handle all accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage invoicing, billing, and collections Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain accurate general ledger entries Process payroll and maintain employee records Track and categorize expenses and income by job or department Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements Assist with job costing, vendor payments, and tax preparation Work closely with ownership and outside accountants on financial planning and compliance Maintain well-organized records for auditing and reporting purposes Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a service-based or construction environment Proficiency with QuickBooks Online Familiarity with industry software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.) is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and proactively managing deadlines Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a small team Why Join LT’s Expert Home Service?
