Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to provide support to our senior accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintaining a filing system that is consistent with company standards. A successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of QuickBooks & Microsoft Office applications, as well as experience using Excel spreadsheets. Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with a positive attitude are key.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable and payable. Payroll experience is a plus. Assist senior accounting team as-needed. Maintain historical records by filing documents.
Position Requirements:
Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Written & verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks.
