The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and proficiency in accounting software. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and providing insightful reports to management. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records by recording journal entries and transactions in the general ledger. Perform general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company’s financial status. Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks and Quicken for efficient bookkeeping processes. Assist with corporate accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records. Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, demonstrating knowledge of financial concepts. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks and Quicken, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices. Experience with journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation is essential. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
