Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile specialized accounting records in compliance with GAAP and GASB standards Compile, analyze, and interpret large volumes of complex financial data Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements Interpret and apply accounting statutes, regulations, and pronouncements (FASB/GASB) Ensure accurate general ledger and trial balance maintenance Use financial systems such as QuickBooks, CYMA, PeachTree, FLAIR, or similar Conduct financial and programmatic compliance audits Develop, document, and update desk procedures for accounting processes Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and compliance efforts

Mandatory Qualifications:

CPA certification or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial statement preparation and working with

FASB/GASB

standards Proven experience conducting financial and programmatic compliance audits Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, etc.) Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting systems (QuickBooks, CYMA, PeachTree, FLAIR, etc.) Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting, trial balances, and ledger maintenance Ability to manage, update, and document accounting procedures
