What You’ll Do As Learning Commons Specialist (Accounting) you will be responsible for instructing/providing learning assistance and tutoring support to individual students and groups and working with faculty across divisions to develop programs, resources, materials and projects. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for: Instructing/providing learning assistance to individual students and groups. Working with faculty across divisions to develop programs, resources, materials and projects. Conducting class visits, orientations, and tours for classes and other groups. Serving on Learning Commons committees and other campus committees. Mentoring OPS tutors and participating in the tutor training process. Providing academic support services to a specified population of students such as Veterans, STEM, online, dual enrollment, athletes, etc. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a discipline related to the assigned area of responsibility including but not limited to Accounting or Business Administration.
