Accounts Payable Specialist Position Available In Manatee, Florida

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bradenton, Florida. This role involves managing daily accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, general ledger coding, and payment preparation. Responsibilities:

• Process a high-volume of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system.
• Perform general ledger coding for specific accounts.
• Prepare weekly payment batches for review and approval by management.
• Conduct check preparation and coordinate international wire transfers, averaging around 10 per month.
• Review bank statements weekly to verify all accounts payable transactions are recorded accurately.
• Support month-end reconciliation by ensuring payment records are complete and accurate.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while managing accounts payable workflows. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
• Familiarity with purchase order processes and three-way matching.
• Proficiency in Excel, including basic functions such as formatting, filtering, and formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume invoice processing.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
