Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Bradenton, Florida. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the accounts receivable process while fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including verifying, reconciling, and recording transactions with precision.
- Collaborate with the Credit Control Manager to facilitate cash collection, resolve outstanding payments, and address customer inquiries.
- Process customer credit card payments and handle intercompany billing efficiently.
- Oversee the administrative process for returned goods and other customer credit memos.
- Assist in evaluating and approving new credit requests, as well as reviewing customer credit rankings.
- Support the establishment of credit terms and conditions for customers.
- Ensure financial records comply with company policies and standards.
- Identify potential issues in processes and recommend actionable solutions for improvement.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned to support departmental goals. Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or credit control roles.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to address inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
