Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Bradenton, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the organization while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong bookkeeping skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency with accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry for financial transactions and records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Utilize QuickBooks to handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
- Edit and manage reports in Microsoft Excel, ensuring data is well-organized.
- Help develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to learn and integrate donor management software.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to prevent errors in financial documentation. Requirements
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and general accounting principles.
- Strong skills in data entry and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including editing and organizing reports.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with payroll processing and month-end close procedures.
