Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Ocala, Florida. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of financial operations by managing a high volume of invoices and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy through three-way matching with purchase orders and receiving reports.
  • Route non-purchase order invoices to the appropriate approvers for coding and data entry.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions, promptly addressing discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to review and prioritize invoices for payment.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries professionally, fostering positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Prepare and execute electronic transfers, wire payments, and issue checks as required.
  • Record accounts payable transactions accurately using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O).
  • Monitor and manage high-volume invoicing, handling up to 200-300 invoices per week.
  • Support the maintenance of organized payment records in alignment with company standards. Requirements
  • Previous experience in manufacturing is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F& O) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of invoicing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in account reconciliation and invoice processing.
  • Familiarity with coding invoices and conducting check runs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
