Job Title:
Accounts Payable Specialist One of our manufacturing clients in the Ocala, FL area is looking to add to their accounting team! Job Description As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include managing daily banking tasks, handling reconciliations, and contributing to month-end reporting. Role Responsibilities + Input vendor invoices into the system efficiently. + Enter vendor payments accurately to ensure timely processing. + Handle daily banking tasks, particularly ACH payments. + Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy. + Perform daily reconciliations to ensure financial records are current. + Complete month-end reporting in a timely manner. + Communicate effectively with vendors via email. + Maintain up-to-date vendor filing systems. + Report sales tax for all applicable states. Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounts payable processes. + Experience with invoice processing and purchase orders. + Expertise in three-way matching and resolving invoice discrepancies. + Experience with D365 is highly desirable. + Strong vendor management and maintenance skills. Work Environment This position is based in-office five days a week, providing a structured environment to collaborate with team members and manage financial tasks effectively. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 – $26.44/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
