We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Coordinator to join our team and help support our fast-paced operations.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & Finance Coordinator to support our finance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, performing reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing key financial reports. The ideal candidate has experience with accounting software, a strong understanding of financial processes, and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Banking & Reconciliation:
Reconcile daily bank and credit card transactions Monitor account balances and flag discrepancies Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Reporting & Financial Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports Support budgeting and forecasting activities Track payroll hours and assist with payroll reporting Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
Accounts Receivable:
Generate customer invoices and process payments Follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection Maintain customer billing records and documentation
Accounts Payable:
Enter and verify vendor invoices Schedule and process vendor payments Maintain organized records of payables and ensure timely disbursements
Compliance & Documentation:
Assist with tax filings, 1099/W9 collection, and year-end financial processes Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations Proficiency with Quickbooks Software Strong Excel and data analysis skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills
