A day in the life… As an Accounting Clerk, you review, reconcile and process payables, purchase orders and vendor statements. You also handle the hotel’s cash banks, daily deposits and assist with month-end balancing or accounts and reports. The Accounting Clerk will also assist in other functional areas as needed to include: Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month End Functions, Analysis/Research, Special Projects, and General Accounting functions. 2-3 years Hospitality/Accounting Experience Required 1 year Accounting / Balance Sheet Reconciliations / Variance Analysis preferred Month end cycle, journal entry preparation/posting SMS / Micros Familiarity Intermediate to Advanced Excel Proficiency High School Diploma or equivalent required BS Degree Accounting/Business preferred
