Job Description

Accounting Clerk Eurocraft Industries Medley, FL 33178 Job description Overview We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Accounting Clerk to oversee financial operations. This role will be responsible for managing accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction accounting , job cost tracking, AIA payment applications, and financial management in a project-based environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor performance against budgeted targets. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices in order to continuously improve financial processes. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not required Proven experience as a Accounting Clerk or similar role in a corporate or private accounting setting Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including debits/credits, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Solid understanding of technical accounting concepts and regulations Experience in both private accounting and corporate accounting is highly desirable
