Key Responsibilities:
Recording financial transactions: Document income, expenses, and other financial activities.
Managing accounts payable and receivable:
Track money owed to and by the business.
Preparing financial reports:
Create income statements, balance sheets, and other essential reports.
Reconciling bank statements:
Ensure that financial records align with bank records.
Verifying financial data:
Fact-check entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Tasks and Duties:
Enter financial transactions: Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or Quantum) to record daily activity.
Manage and reconcile accounts:
Maintain accurate and current financial records.
Prepare financial statements:
Develop reports to provide a snapshot of the business’s financial health.
Process payments to vendors:
Ensure timely and accurate payments.
Assist with tax preparation:
Gather and organize financial data for tax filings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
