SUMMARY We currently have a unique opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator for Development . The Accounts Payable Admin will report to the Controller for Development and work with development staff to ensure all accounting needs are met for our Real Estate Development Company. The Accounts Payable Admin position is a primary contributor to the accounting operations of our real estate developments. Our Accounts Payable Administrator is a salaried position that may require investment of time and effort beyond a traditional work week. We are looking for you to have a positive attitude towards change with a great ability to adapt in a face-paced environment. You should be able to identify needs and propose solutions to successfully complete projects on time with tremendous collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs Follow established accounting processes Review and verify invoices and check requests Sort, code and match invoices Set invoices up for payment Enter and upload invoices into system Track expenses and process expense reports Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments Prepare and perform check runs Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records Reconcile accounts payable transactions Prepare analysis of accounts Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Produce monthly reports Assist with month end closing Provide support to accountants with monthly draw process Provide supporting documentation for audits

EDUCATION

EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE

) Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience 1-3+ years’ experience in construction/real estate development accounting

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

Accounts Payable Certification

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED

Proficiency and aptitude for general accounting software programs, including Microsoft Office, Yardi, Sage/Timberline, and/or Office Connector. Organizing and prioritizing Attention to detail and accuracy Judgment Communication skills Information management skills Ability to meet deadlines
