Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk who wants to start a career in the government space.

Responsibilities:

• Process and enter invoices with accuracy and efficiency, handling 30 to 40 batches regularly.
• Monitor and track expenses, generating detailed reports using Excel.
• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with vendors to address inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Handle purchasing tasks to support operational needs.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Code invoices appropriately to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Utilize financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and analysis. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and reconciliation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal teams.
• Knowledge of coding invoices and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Experience with check runs and managing payments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
