CLIENT OVERVIEW

Our client is a fast-growing, leading, environmental service contractor specializing in the maintenance (jet-vac cleaning and CCTV pipeline inspection) and trenchless rehabilitation of storm and wastewater pipeline infrastructure throughout Florida. Their team is now looking for a Bilingual Accounts Payable Specialist!

SALARY/HOURLY RATE

$25/hr – $28/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is ideal for a rising star who excels in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to drive the company’s growth and digitization efforts. As a Bilingual Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in vendor communications and ensuring accurate expense recognition/job costing.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BILINGUAL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Process and record vendor invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and expense reports.
Post daily bank and credit card transactions in accounting software.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems.
Generate reports on accounts payable metrics, such as aging summaries and purchase trends.
Ensure timely and accurate collection and processing of required documents with proper approvals.
Collaborate with teams to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, policy violations, and risks; knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE BILINGUAL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

2+ years of experience in AP.
Construction/Contracting industry experience preferred.
Bilingual (Professional English & Spanish) required.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Foundation, Fyle, preferred).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE BILINGUAL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma.
