Accounts Receivable Clerk Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Description We are supporting one of our top clients with their search for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. In this role, you will manage payment collections, maintain customer accounts, and ensure accurate financial records. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Open and manage business accounts to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Generate aging reports to identify overdue accounts and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
• Send invoices to customers and monitor payment statuses to maintain timely collections.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies on invoices, including returns, rebills, or credit memo creation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Handle large volumes of customer accounts efficiently and maintain organized records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics for financial management and reporting tasks. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and collections.
• Familiarity with the billing processes.
• Experience in collections and handling large customer accounts.
• Strong skills in Excel and Great Plains Dynamics.
• Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
