Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, reviewing invoices, and supporting overall collections efforts. This position plays a key role in maintaining the financial health and cash flow of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner. Record and apply customer payments in accounting software. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on time. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable. Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue invoices. Maintain up-to-date records of all payment activities and customer interactions. Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting. Support internal and external audit requests. Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred. 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
