The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections. This role requires strong mathematical skills and proficiency in accounting software, along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Duties Process incoming payments and apply them to appropriate accounts. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable. Generate and send out invoices in a timely manner. Assist with the resolution of billing discrepancies and customer inquiries. Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, for tracking payments and generating reports. Collaborate with the public accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Conduct regular audits of accounts receivable to identify any outstanding balances. Experience Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role is preferred. Proficiency in accounting software is essential; experience with Sage is a plus. Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with public accounting practices. Excellent math skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting. Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks. Knowledge of medical billing processes is advantageous but not required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
